Lake Norman

Lake Norman, the largest man-made lake in the Carolinas, is the place for fun in the sun! Created in 1963 by Duke Energy, Lake Norman is 34 miles long with 520 miles of shoreline. The area is separated by four different counties, Iredell County, Catawba County, Mecklenburg County and Lincoln County. Gastonia
Gastonia is a larger medium-sized city located in the state of North Carolina. With a population of 77,024 people and 30 constituent neighborhoods, Gastonia is the 13th largest community in North Carolina.
Gastonia is neither predominantly blue-collar nor white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Gastonia is a city of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals. There are especially a lot of people living in Gastonia who work in office and administrative support (13.18%), sales jobs (11.62%), and management occupations (8.87%).

Concord

The affluent Ballantyne area is home to the Ballantyne Village shopping center, with chic clothing boutiques and jewelry stores, and Blakeney Village, an outdoor mall featuring major national brands. There are a number of casual Italian, Southern and Asian restaurants, as well as cafes and burger joints. Small parks and ponds dot the neighborhood and the Ballantyne hotel has a public 18-hole golf course.
